“Xbox Smart Glass” will allow the users to stream videos, control system remotely and will be able available on different operating system like Windows, Windows Phone, Android, and iOS.
There is already a tablet with a Wii U controller for the next generation game console, and now in a report we have heard that this generation is going to have another one, particularly for “Xbox 360”. According to this Examiner’s report, Microsoft will disclose its “Xbox Smart Glass” tablet Electronic Entertainment Expo during the upcoming week.
In this report, there is a picture of the “Xbox Smart Glass” Tablet. The tablet is branded with a Windows logo, and the credits are for Microsoft for the photo. The report also tells that there is going to be a demo clip at E3 on Monday morning at Microsoft’s media briefing, however there is going to be no live video. Also there is going to be a behind-closed-doors presentation done by the makers.
The Examiner report also suggests that the users will be able to control the Xbox 360 using Smart Glass. It will also allow access to Xbox Live apps just like Netflix. Moreover, you will also be able to stream video between the tablet, a TV, desktop PC or any other devices. According to the report it “will be available cross platform on multiple operating systems including Windows, Windows Phone, Android, and iOS.” The function of the tablet will be accessible in application for other devices.
A trademark for the term “Smart Glass” was filed by Microsoft in January covering “computer hardware and software for phones, mobile devices, televisions, video game consoles, media players, and audiovisual devices.”
